The wrestling industry shocked at Jay Briscoe’s passing


The death of legendary pro wrestler Jay Briscoe shocked the world.

According to reports, Briscoe, was one of two persons killed in an automobile accident in Delaware. Tony Khan, the creator of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and owner of Ring of Honor (ROH), tweeted to confirm Briscoe’s passing.

Along with his brother Mark, Briscoe made up one-half of the ROH tag team champions.

Numerous professional wrestlers and people in the business posted condolences on social media.

In the world of independent wrestling, Jay Briscoe was legendary. He competed in various promotions, including Combat Zone Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Noah, but he had the most success in ROH as a singles competitor and as a member of a tag team with his brother.

The 38-year-old Briscoe won 13 ROH tag-team championships, two ROH world championships, and one six-man tag-team title alongside his brother and Bully Ray.

Despite the fact that he never made an appearance in the WWE, his talent in pro wrestling was recognized by his followers, his coworkers, and those who observed him from a distance.

There will never be anyone like Jay Briscoe.
