According to a rumor, Mercedes Varnado (also known as Sasha Banks in the WWE) is anticipated to appear at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.

She is being brought in, but it’s not known if she will merely be there to watch the show or participate in the broadcast. This is in response to her expressing interest in competing against former WWE Superstar KAIRI in STARDOM, a sister organization to NJPW.

Banks left the WWE during a May Monday Night RAW TV taping due to creative issues. Later, she and Naomi were put on indefinite suspension. Since the walkout, both women have appeared in public on numerous occasions.

It was announced in August of last year that Banks and Naomi had decided to rejoin the WWE. However, their homecoming has not yet taken place because there have been obstacles in the money-related negotiations for a new agreement.
