Observed in the NXT Audience: Two Potential WWE Signees

Dutch and Vincent of the Righteous, two former ROH performers, were spotted in the audience on Tuesday during the NXT tapings this week. There have been reports that WWE might sign both individuals, possibly for the Wyatt 6 faction, however neither the faction nor these two wrestlers have verified these rumors.

Now that both individuals have been seen in the audience, rumors have begun to circulate that WWE is signing them to contracts or, at the absolute least, is giving them tryouts to join the NXT roster. Reports now reflect the fact that both are participating in the WWE Performance Center auditions. Since neither of them were specifically mentioned in the presentation as being in the audience, this makes more sense. In most cases, a contract is established for WWE (NXT) to be present in the front row when announcing a new signing. Next week during the program, we’ll see if that occurs.

What, if Anything, Does This Mean?

There may be other factors at play here. Either this is just a coincidence and no one from NXT anticipated this would garner the kind of media attention it has, or WWE wanted them to be seen and for a photo of them in the audience to go viral and spark conversation. There is no evidence that the two are tied to Wyatt or that the business has really signed them. Nevertheless, it does seem strange that they would be so obvious, and it is clear that there is a connection between WWE and the two wrestlers.
